Lucy who is 23, is a past student of St James’ Catholic High School, Colindale. She has now returned to work there as a teaching assistant. Her colleagues say that she gives above and beyond on a regular basis, selflessly and constantly striving to support, encourage and enable those around her. Lucy’s sunny nature not only helps students, like when she's running reading groups or scribing for those who need support, but she can also be relied upon to help fellow staff when they are faced with difficulties. She will often give up her time to do extra duties and cover for absent colleagues cheerfully, as she knows it will make a positive difference for all concerned.
